ZexDraws is made by Divyanshu Lakra (Prezext). This policy explains what the ZexDraws Android app does with your information.

In short: ZexDraws does not collect, send or sell any of your data. The app has no internet access, no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting. Your drawings stay on your device.

What stays on your device

To work, ZexDraws saves these things in its own private storage on your device:

  • Your drawings: their layers, and the record of every stroke that Replay uses to play a drawing back.
  • Your brushes and settings.
  • Your hand overlay. If you choose your own hand image, ZexDraws only sees the image you pick and keeps its own copy of it, along with where the pen tip sits and the overlay size. It can’t see the rest of your photos.

None of this leaves your device through ZexDraws. If Android backup is turned on for your device, Android may include ZexDraws’ data in your own Google backup, like it does for other apps. You control this in your device’s settings.

Saving and sharing

Nothing leaves ZexDraws unless you ask it to:

  • Save to Photos writes the image or timelapse video you export to your device’s gallery.
  • Share hands the file you export to the app you pick (for example, a messaging or video app). That app’s own privacy policy then applies.

Permissions ZexDraws asks for

  • Storage (only on Android 10 and older): to save images and videos to your gallery. Newer versions of Android don’t need a permission for this.

Deleting your data

You can delete drawings from the gallery inside the app. To remove everything, clear ZexDraws’ storage in your device’s settings, or uninstall the app. Images and videos you saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.

Children

ZexDraws doesn’t collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
